One nice thing about the Horizons Writing System is that it does not forget about people who may have a reason to use regular straight-line writing paper. Every sheet in the notebook has two sides, one ErgoText, and the other our own version of regular writing paper. But 'regular,' it ain't (pardon). That is because it has been rethought from the ground up so that it could be so much more than just a straight-line paper. In point of fact, we multiplexed it. It, like the notebook itself, is feature laden, with ten built-in but virtually invisible tab positions to give you complete flexibility in one writing product: graph, draw, list, do columnar work, all right there, even on the same sheet. You get better looking, more consistent documents and, like ErgoScript, no annoying red line to get in the way or distract! |

There are lots of ways these tab positions can be used. Lists, math, and even columnar work becomes a snap. We deliberately spaced them so you can mentally divide them in half... such that the resulting extra imaginary divisions allow you to easily use the paper as if graph paper. Not just bar graphs, but X-Y science graphs, too. And with that kind of aid, drawing or sketching becomes easier, especially when trying to scale down a real-world object, or adjust for perspective. Sketched floor plans and construction diagrams literally fall into place intuitively. Best of all, perhaps, a single sheet can mix or match any of these functions to make a better looking document than if using a primary paper for additional functions for which it was not designed. Large documents using ErgoPlex with a mix of information will automatically enjoy a more professional and consistent appearance instead of being a mix of vusually different paper types otherwise required. And with just one paper, there will be fewer chances of running out of a given paper type in the middle of a project and fewer things to store and keep track of, saving time, money and space. |
